Description

The AT runs 33.7 miles from the Kennebec River (Caratunk) (US Hwy 201) to Monson, ME (ME Hwy 15). Along the way, the trail passes Pleasant Pond, the Pleasant Pond shelter, Pleasant Pond Mountain, Moxie Pond, the Bald Mountain Brook Lean-to, Bald Mountain, Bald Mountain Pond, the Moxie Bald Lean-to, the Horseshoe Canyon Lean-to, Lake Hebron, and Buck Hill.
